At introduction for original 2004 model-years Nissan Titan & Armada, the 5.6-liter Endurance V-8 & automatic 5-speed transmission were close to class-leading. Only half-ton main stream competitor @ time which came really close was Dodge Ram Hemi 1500. Titan’s very well chiseled the lines and gave the full-sized buyers truck one alternative for Detroit 3 & Toyota’s a bit smaller Tundra.
